Certified Arborists & Tree Inspections
KC Johnson and Bobby Johnson are both ISA Certified Arborists, a credential awarded by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) to professionals who have demonstrated extensive knowledge of tree biology, diagnosis, maintenance, and safe tree care practices through experience and examination. KC also holds the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) certification, which provides advanced training in evaluating tree risk and safety.
ISA Certified Arborists vs. Non-Certified Tree Professionals
ISA Certified Arborists have verified tree care experience, pass a comprehensive certification exam, follow a professional code of ethics, and complete continuing education to maintain expertise in tree health, pruning, safety, and diagnosis.
Non-Certified Tree Professionals may have hands-on experience but are not required to earn certification, pass standardized exams, or complete ongoing education, and may focus primarily on tree removal rather than long-term tree health.
As Certified Arborists, our role is to provide expert guidance. We perform professional tree inspections and provide detailed reports to educate homeowners and property managers about the health, condition, and safety of their trees so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

Our ISA Certified Arborists provide professional arborist reports that include an interactive map, detailed photos, and inspection notes for every evaluated tree. We identify concerns such as tree safety, disease, storm damage, and long-term tree health, then provide practical recommendations so you can decide on the best course of action for your property. Each report is delivered through an online platform with a unique login per client that allows you to easily review at any time.
We provide tree risk assessments, arborist reports, and interactive tree mapping for homeowners, businesses, and municipalities throughout Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma counties. Our clients include the City of Ukiah, Ukiah Unified School District, Potter Valley Community School District, Mendocino College, Mendocino County Parks, and many private property owners and businesses.
